About Supertaal

Supertaal is a free visual vocabulary app for learning useful words across 12 languages. It combines images, natural practice sentences, pronunciation, and modern spaced repetition in one multilingual study deck.

Learn your way

• Study 3,000 ranked concepts from beginner to intermediate level.
• Enable any combination of English, Dutch, Spanish, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Hindi, and Russian.
• Review with the FSRS scheduling algorithm or browse the complete vocabulary collection.
• Keep progress locally without an account, or optionally sign in to synchronize it.
• Download the optional Supertonic voice model for on-device pronunciation.

Published vocabulary is stored in portable versioned files. Progress uses stable concept identifiers, so corrected translations and reordered content do not erase learning history.

Supertaal is created and operated by CTW Studio, an Amsterdam software studio building tools for research and society.
